Korea Festival @ Vivo City

Happened to pass by Vivo City yesterday to do some administrative stuffs...
So lucky that there's is an event being held at level 3...
It is the Korea Flavour Fiesta...

There are performances, booth set up for Korean food, Korean product, Korea Package Tour...
Picture below shows different type of food that Koreans have during four seasons (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter). Interesting...

Most import of all there is a booth set up to try wearing Korean costume... so fun ha...

First Christmas Tree I saw in 2008

Ha... There is another 2 months before Christmas, yet I saw this Christmas tree erecting at Vivo City already.... thats quite early right...


Anyway something else to update... went to register for the korean language course already, may start the lesson by end November but it is still tentative one... however still quite excited about it... 안녕하세요 (Ahn Neyong Ha Seyo) (How are you?) ... Haha... should be quite fun de...

Tomorrow is start of another work week again... jia you!

Likes and Dislikes

Its been a week since me and dear have some talk... has been thinking hard also...
guess everybody just has their likes and dislikes...
seeing how stressful dear's work life is, guess me shall let him continue his stress-free life after work... his ways of de-stressing...

i will still try to do my part to help him de-stress... hopefully im up to it haha... and also believe in what he say last week...

anyway dear will be having some overseas break for the next few days, will miss him de hee

A Korean Monday Off

Ha... shall blog about my Monday off today...

went to enquire about the korean course at Cambridge Institute at Jurong East, found out more details liao, most probably will go and register this weekend.

ask my god-sis for a korean lunch... its at Su Korean Restaurant at Far East Plaza... the ala-carte dishes was quite expensive but the set menus are more economical... the two of us really ate a lot juzt now ha... we had appertisers, fried rice flour cake, bimbimbap and ginseng chicken soup...
and also the korean tea, I think it should be the barley tea that I have drank the last time...

I would recommend people to try the soup, very nice... to get the soup at discounted price, go to the restaurant on MONDAY ha...

In Deep Thoughts

if yes, then sorry, dear... :p
if no, then heng ah... ha

anyway i am also in deep thoughts for these few days...
thinking of:
1) whether to quit the job when economy is going down, am I too diao man le?
(actually, me sort of decided what to do le)
2) whether to take up a korean language course
3) whether to become a volunteer to teach some free tuition
and some more...

I took one day leave tomorrow, hopefully can sort some things out hee
And hopefully no phone calls from work BUT we shall see ah....

Another Cooking Learning Session

I was searching through my blog, wondering when was the last time I helped out Mummy with the cooking ha. It was in my first blog, which was in year 2005. Thats long time ago.

Was back home slightly earlier today and start to help mummy prepare for dinner without even changing my clothes ha... like a busy housewife... actually also only help out a bit here and there... but was tiring loh... now i can understand why mummy sometimes will complain tired to cook after work hee...

Anyway as compared to the experience in 2005, I feel more comfortable this time... guess i should be able to cook a dish or two if I want to ha.... hmm... maybe can try try after me quit the job ha...

Waseda High School Carnival cum Openhouse

went to a Japanese High School near my house this afternoon...
jio by my god sister cos her friend found out that there is a carnival cum openhouse over there this weekend...
quite fun... got food to eat, got bazaar to play and got games to play...
and oso gt cute jap gers and boyz.... Fun!

He is really handsome loh, no wonder can "mi dao" so many pple, including me ha...

I think I was a supporter of him ard 6 years ago when he acted in Winter Sonata...

Lazy + Exhausted

Today is Mid-Autumn Festival wor... Happy Mooncake Day haha

I need to perk myself up... was down with a very bad throat last week, in the end bo bian, cannot self medicat and have to see doctor. Doc's medicine was good, eat le recover almost immediately like xian dan ha...

Has been missing my jogging schedule for these 2 weeks, my god... Really have to wake myself up during weekends to go jogging...

Work is still as stress... when can finish everything, really tired.... never ending de....

I need to jia more you... cannot cont like this.... so sianz... must chase all the laziness and sickness away...

6 years le.... For a relationship to last 6 years, is it long?

Hmmn... personally feels its quite long, like a challenge... maintaining it is not easy... really must treasure...

Just came back from dinner and date with dear at Vivo... think me too tired from work le, dun have the feeling of celebration ha... jialat de...

This year is really a busy year for both of us... always need to fight with time... hopefully it will be better for more upcoming years to go :) jia you!

Wow... I have not been blogging for 1 month le... ha...
Guess its ok bah... not much reader though...

Anyway wanted to fa a bit of lao sao again ha...
Today only Tuesday but feels like I have been working for a week le...
sianz... a lot of things to do... was working hard to complete the stuffs but does not seem to be able to finish them...
is it my time management skills got problem or wat... or am I juz too sick of the things I am doing now...
see all the papers on my paper then start to feel tired... feels tired once started work in the morning... was not like that in the past one leh... What is wrong? some kind of sickness? can cure mah?

Guess I need to put my self in a more positive way to be able to continue with the job.... Muz jia you :)

Another Long Weekend

Haha... Long weekend for me because I took leave on Friday...

Updates:
Friday - Did some banking stuff then went for a blood donation at HSA (the 6th time). This time round I went alone, nice :) The nurse who help me with the blood donation was quite experience, although she seems to be unable to find my veins initially... I told her that I am using my left hand the previous time, so she use back the same old left hand... Then she insert more pressure on my hand using the pump so that the veins can "flood up" and more obvious... hee hee... no blue black this time round... safe :)
After the blood donation, I went city hall area because was suppose to meet dear during evening time... I was early, so I walked around and ended up sitting at a cafe playing PSP while waiting for dear haha... After that, dear and me had dinner and we did some retail therapy also... its GSS mah, so cannot waste the chance ha...

Saturday - Slept till quite late, maybe a bit tired from the blood donation thingy. Had breakfast wif bro and his gf at MAC. Then bua long long at home. In the evening, we then went for the father's day dinner at Bottle Tree Park. The food is not too good but its happening at that place de, a lot of activities to do there other than eating ha... By the way, my mum and dad booked a 1 night cruise package to nowhere. It shall be on 10 July. Another round of "er4 ren2 shi4 jie4" ;p

Sunday - Went jogging in the morning with mum, dad and my god sis... Did housework like folding clothes, ironing clothes and washing clothes ha... Din really have the mood to go out cos not feeling too well... "nu3 ren2 bing4" again... i think to be nu3 ren2 is really not easy ha...

So is my long weekend well spent? Another new week going to start soon... jiayou :)

Dear booked a room at PP hotel to celebrate my birthday...

How nice... still thinking of the big big bed, the big big tv and the nice nice scenary now ha...
Have a wonderful time with Dear last week... quite a unique way to celebrate my bday this year though :)

On the other hand, I also had another pre bday celebration with wen and yan at BATAM after celebration with Dear... 2 celebrations in 1 weekend hee...
Went for a SPA treatment... shiok... sometimes really muz pamper yourself a bit ha...

Don't know is it "play" too much le, then no mood to work this week ha... anyway this week have ended le, really must buck up for the rest of the weeks before embarking for another retreat.
Hmmn... Where should I go leh???

Determination and Perseverance

I saw this man in Bugis last week. A lot of people crowded around him.
He put a lot of photos on the floor but its not for sale. However there is some money in his helmet. I was wondering what this man was doing.
Then my brother told me that he is a deaf and mute. What stunned me is that he traveled around the world in the motorcycle in the picture since May 2000. And he had arrived in Singapore in Apr 2008. I think the next stop that he will be going is Malaysia, Bangkok and rest of southeast Asia. He was quite friendly and we took a photo of him.
I have searched the web and found out his name. He is called Yarets Vladimir Alekseevich and I have found a website on him:

Its really amazing. Is it people, who are handicapped, will have more determination than normal people? Anyway he should have left Singapore by now :) Jia you wor...

A Dream

Dream about Dear last night...
A lot of things happen at work lately, I thought I will be too stress to dream about him ha...
Anyway he is on holiday since Thursday...
No messages from him so far, guess he is still enjoying hee...
Hope to see him back soon on next Monday :)
