Remember he told me that he has thouhht of what to do on my BIG day le?
Yeah... he finally tell me about the surprise last night...

Determination and Perseverance

I saw this man in Bugis last week. A lot of people crowded around him.
He put a lot of photos on the floor but its not for sale. However there is some money in his helmet. I was wondering what this man was doing.
Then my brother told me that he is a deaf and mute. What stunned me is that he traveled around the world in the motorcycle in the picture since May 2000. And he had arrived in Singapore in Apr 2008. I think the next stop that he will be going is Malaysia, Bangkok and rest of southeast Asia. He was quite friendly and we took a photo of him.
I have searched the web and found out his name. He is called Yarets Vladimir Alekseevich and I have found a website on him:

Its really amazing. Is it people, who are handicapped, will have more determination than normal people? Anyway he should have left Singapore by now :) Jia you wor...

A Dream

Dream about Dear last night...
A lot of things happen at work lately, I thought I will be too stress to dream about him ha...
Anyway he is on holiday since Thursday...
No messages from him so far, guess he is still enjoying hee...
Hope to see him back soon on next Monday :)

Guitar Club Gathering Cum Bday Celebration

Had a grand gathering last night... about 16-20 people turn up...
Had our dinner at Pepper Lunch, the food was not bad...
Met some long time no see friends, the feeling was good... always like this kind of feeling to see some friends and find out how have they been lately...

After dinner, we proceed to MindCafe for games... Never know that they have a branch at Bugis, so spend some time asking and searching for it...
When we reached, the waiters there helped us to join 3 tables together so that we can sit together... nice...
However there is no games for so many people, in the end we split into 3 groups haha...
It was fun... I think I have not been laughing until so "feng" for quite a long time le... Laughing can always help me to destress by a lot... That is why I always like to meet this group of friends in the past... But due to work, it is harder to meet up so often nowadsys... Anyway hope to see them more often in future :)

Problematic Monday

It has been quite some time since I last complained about work in my blog...
Yeah... I am going to do it in this blog...

All problems come together today... cannot make it de...
Make a lot of phone calls, trying to solve the problems but nothing was solved by the end of the work day... Ah... Sianz... Really feel very depressed...

Will cont solving tmr.... really hope things can progress... please let me have a smooth work day tomorrow...

Celebrating Dear's Big Big Day

Long long time didn't blog liao....

Anyway juz had a celebration with Dear yesterday night for his Big Day ha... it was a very belated Bday celebration due to his busy workload for the past few weeks. I oso feel relief after he finally finished his project ha...

Back to yesterday celebration... I was 15 mins late ha... Dear thought i will postpone the thing to later time due to work ha.... no loh, I have been waiting to celebrate this day with him, of course i wont do that, so by hook or by crook I will leave early from work ha.... We went Fisheman's Wharf opposite The Central. The food was not bad, I had salmon while dear had Halibut Fillet and we ordered Calamari to share too. Calamari was nice and it was quite an economical meal. Finally, I have also pass dear his bday present which i bought in vday ha...

After the meal, we proceed to VIVO. We juz take a little walk at the supermarket then we proceed to Saint James. I was quite excited though. It was my second time to Saint James. This time round I am going to the Berlili Room, quite a nice outlet, not so crowded and rowdy as the others outlet. I like the Jazz live band, nice! Drank a few drinks like Vodka Lime, Corona and Lychee Martina. However as what dear has commented, the drinks did not make me feel high ha... Thats why me still feel a bit sleepy ha....

Dance a little with dear too, it has been long long time since we danced together. I guess this should be the 4th time... 1st is in sentosa, 2nd in MU, 3rd is at Expo and this is the fourth... ha... over the years, dear's dancing skills has become more and more powerful, no wonder he say he wasn't called dancing king for nothing ha...

The celebration ended chilling out at the "harbour" outside ViVo. This place reminds me of Canada Place except for there is no cold cold weather and no snow cap mountain in singapore, really miss Canada a lot... hmmn... Dear also told me that he already know what to do for my Big Day liao, me quite gan dong de, at least he got put this in his mind liao... But I still keep my finger cross first ha cos i know him to well le... he will forgo this plan for another thing de, that one i gaurantee plus chop... so we shall see by then :)

Friends and Family Gathering Day

Had a nice chit chatting session with my ex-guitar club friends. So nice... Have not been meeting them for quite a long time liao. Its always to catch up with old old friends hee...

As for today, Wen, Yan and I had a gathering this afternoon at AMK. Ha, why go so far? To search for Wen's camera which she wanted to bring to Japan. Good hor, japan leh... Anyway we had a great time eating, chating and shopping ha...

In the evening, I went down to my grandma's house to have dinner. Aunties and Uncles are there too. Its a sumptuous dinner because got "Peng Cai". Guess saliva should be drooling when you see the photis below. Thanks to my uncle then we can have this sumptuous meal. Think its not cheap lor hee...

Ok! Thats all for my gathering and good food hee. Got one question in mind now, maybe someone can help me answer, esp guys out there. The question is if there are 2 girls who like you at the same time. (A) One is those type who will hide all worries and sadness and will always appear to be happy in front one of you. (B) The other is those type who will show all the worries and sadness and will want you to sayang one. Which one will you choose?

I think I am more like a Type (A) kind of girl. I am not sure is it good or bad, just feel that everybody has their own worries, therefore would not like to burden the other person too much and eventually becomes unhappy. So what will be your choice?

A Busy Year Ahead???

Supposed to meet only dear yesterday.... When I was on the way to meet him, dear called and told me that he can't meet me le cos he has to rush back office to do something. Then i suggested to meet him after that but he has already made another appointment at 10.30pm, so no choice but to cancel the date lor. Next, I called Wen to accompany for dinner and she is available :) Really appreciates to always have a good friend by your side ha... Thanks, Wen. Anyway after couple of minutes later, dear called again to say that he is able o meet again ha... so in the end, met both wen and dear together. How? feel dizzy mah? Me felt so and I believe dear felt so too...

I was browsing through dear's blog just now, he and me has never miss v day celebration throughout the years of our relationship. However for this year, we had give it a miss. I was thinking this beginning of the year is an hectic and busy year I guess. A lot of things happen whereby none of us can control and both of us have been working like nobody business. I really hope to spend some quality time with him but sigh... By the way, his bday is coming in less than 2 weeks time and yet we have not settle a date to celebrate. I hope we will not give this one a miss, really... Anyway I have bought the bday present liao ha, hope he will like it... lets see when the present will reach his hands bah ha....

My Dearest Mummy

Ha... I just had an interesting conversation with my Mummy, so decided to blog some things down...
She finally voice out her views... actually I have been waiting for her to comment hee...
She told me that she does not like me to stay in dear's house ha... Actually I have been expecting that from her...
Since last year, I have already stayed in dear's house for 2 times. This Friday will be the third. I informed Mummy about it yesterday and she told me her thoughts today...
She said that she will not care if we have ROMed.... ha... I find it a bit funny...
Anyway since she dun like, then me shall be a "guai nu er" then... but this Friday one will still go since I promised dear liao...
I asked her what if I "diao man" and dun listen to her... guess what she say...
She will throw my clothes out ha... Its really up to you to believe her or not but i think better don't try... I still know my Mummy best ha...

Cooling Weather

Actually, I don't have anything in mind to blog but would like to write something.
I shall talk about tonight's weather then. Ha... so boring...
Tonight's weather is quite cooling, temperature should be around 22 to 24 degree celcius, natural air-conditioner.
This weather reminds me of USA, though its not as cold hee.
Though I am still quite scared of cold, I kind of start to love this type of weather because in this way then we can feel the warmth at home.
Anyway this afternoon, dear told me that he has plans to go overseas to study in 1 to 2 years time.
As for now, I am fully supportive of his plans. Its always good to upgrade your skills and knowledge.
However when the times come when he is really leaving, how would I react? Sad? As supportive? Behave in a weird way? I really dun noe... I guess will be writing another blog by that time again to describe my feeling hee...

Holiday - LA and Vancouver

Was back since last Friday but too tired and lazy to blog... plus suffering from jet lag, so did not do any blogging... Today got a MC due to sore and itchy throat, so got time to blog a bit ha...
Anyway me dun like to write and dear is describing the trip in his blog liao, so i shall just supply the photos in mine ha... Happy Viewing :)

Something to add.... Really appreciates Michelle (Dear's fren) supplying us with room to stay and some food during our stay in LA. I really "pei fu" her also, a really very independent girl. One girl staying alone in LA. She has let me re-think about my life also... Anyway thanks a lot, Michelle!

5th Blood Donation

Went for blood donaton last sunday... this time used left hand to donate... However the nurse is pro loh, her action was fast, no pain (not like last time), so no blue-black... She told me that my veins are very deep, deeper for my right hand than my left hand, so use left hand will be easier... think nurse will be more stress when they met me this type of donar cos vein more difficult to find ha...

Anyway on the other hand, will be leaving for my USA and Canada trip with dear tomorrow. Dear was quite upset these few days about 2 issues, so cannot feel his excitement. Poor dear. Guess he is really very "fan", hope that this trip can help him relax and avoid all the "fan" things for a while... Then everything will be ok le when we are back 2 weeks later...

11 more hours to go... USA and Canada, here we come! :)

Review and 2008 Resolutions

Ha... Its 1st day of 2008! A time to do review of 2007 and start my 2008 resolutions...

Lets do a review first (ps: was reading my last year blog while blogging this, ha gt blog is so good):
1) Exercise every weekend -> checked
Did follow this closely and participated in the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 2007 on 2nd Dec 2007. It was a fun event to participate and shall continue this for next few years.

2) Find a greener pasture -> half checked
Did apply for position as teacher, send an online application but MOE rejected me... so in the end I did not hop anywhere and stayed with my current company for another one year.

3) Traveling with family and dear -> three quarter checked
Traveled with dear to Bali in March, it was a nice trip. As for the family one, I am not able to travel due to $$$. However I sponsored Mum and Dad to BKK on their tour package. Although my bro and I did not go with them but I can feel that they are happy after they came back. At least the money spent its worth it. I guess children just have to create some "er ren shi jie" for parents when its needed ha.

Ok, that all for my review. Though its not fully checked but i still do something on them, so I guess its not so bad bah :p

Next, it shall be may 2008 resolutions:
1) Continue to participate in marathons.
Just surf the net to see what are the marathons held in 2007 hee. I shall participate in 2 marathons this year, 2008. One is the Safra Bay Run. I have not participate in this before, this shall be something new this year. Next one is the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon again, it should be Women's 10km race. Hope can improve on the timing. In 2007, I took about 80mins, must run faster this year.

2) Complete all the tasks at work, meaning to be more organised, focus and determined.
There are still a lot work being carried forward to this year. I think its due to too many work piling plus me not very organised. Therefore I shall be more organised and focus to complete each individual job. Jia You :)

3) Upgrade skills and knowledge
Aiming to take up some useful course or read more books this year. For courses, maybe near to end of the year bah. I have not really decide what course to take but may be something related to IT or Logistic. Shall read more books and see which one I am more interested in.

4) Be more supportive and responsive about dear's stuff
Ha... dear has voiced out that I am stubborn and unresponsive at times when he needed more response from me... I did not object to what he say... cos its true... I know I tends to switch off once he repeated something that he has said before or I am too tired after work le. So sorry, dear. Shall work on it this year ha. Hope to see improvements this year :)

Thats shall be all... As for travelling, no resolutions is set. Its because dear and me will be going USA and Canada in 8 days time ha... Its winter lor.... Guess it will be an unusual experience for me :) For family trip, this shall depend on my financial capability ha, so not going to set as a resolution.

2nd Last Day of 2007

Ha, come in to write something cos i did a lot of things at home again....

Did not go for a jog this morning cos only wake up at 9am plus, too late le as Mr sunshine will be very bright liao. Therefore I bua long long for a while then started to do my stuffs at around 12pm plus ha...

List of things done:
1) Fold clothes
2) Talk on the phone with Dear
3) Change whole family bedsheet (cannot tahan, my nose nearly drop(sensitive to dust)...
4) Sweep and mop the floor
5) Go for a haircut downstairs
6) Go for a jog in stadium (Got rain a bit but still cont to jog ha)
7) Dinner wif Mum and Dad
8) Organise my organiser (change to 2008 one hee)
9) Blogging now...

So whats next, should be playing PSP game again while watching tv... dun noe will be able to wait till dear come bk or not ha... anyway me will be working on the last day of 2007, so jia you ha...

On the other hand, bcos of work, will not be able to meet dear on the last day of 2007... a bit disappointed lar but wat to do? Who ask me not to take leave tmr? Anyway think i will be counting down either in the car or at airport cos will be fetching my bro and his gf who come back from Bangkok tmr...

Anyway Happy New Year lar... shall blog on review and resolutions on first day of 2008 :)

Christmas Celebration 2007

This year's Christmas celebration is special.
Firstly attended a Uni friend's solemnization on the christmas eve's night. He is my FYP mate. I was there during the time when he first started courting his wife. Its really happy to see both of them getting married.

Secondly, dear attended the solemnization with me too. We went back to dear's house after the solemnization dinner and after picking up the pre-ordered fruit cake and wine package from Gelare. This was the first time we are celebrating Christmas at dear's house, away from all the crowds and lightings. Its a warmth and peaceful Christmas celebration.... Nice, i like this kind of celebration hee. Hopefully there will be more of this kind of celebration in the coming years ha...

My First Marathon Race

Yes! Completed my first marathon race yesterday 02 Dec 2007.
Its The Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 2007. I have participated in the 10km women race. I have been training for it s ince months ago ha... kiasu right... only 10km mah...

Anyway the race started at 8am. My god sister accompanied me in the race too. We both took a cab from our to City Hall MRT station as we woke up rather late. Anyway many roads were closed for the events, therefore the taxi driver drop us at Penisular Plaza instead. Next we "chiong" to the baggage deposit station to deposit our bags. Luckily there was no queue ha... Then we "chiong" to the STARTING point which is near to One Fullerton. We reached there around 7.45am but we were quite far away from the starting point hee... Although it is a Women category race but you will still see some guys in the crowd.... Why??? Me also not sure... I think some were accompanying their gf bah...

We ran through Shenton way, along the high rise buildings, the feeling is good, esp when the wind blow on your face... plus the whole Shenton way is closed for you to run, thats really very "bang" de haha... Luckily yest erday weather was good, like it was made for the marathon...

After completing the race, there's a great sense of satisfaction. So Fun. My god sister and I will be participating next year marathon but will be the 10km one again... Our target will be the FULL marathon a few years later... haha... dun faint k... hopefully this dream can be fullfilled :)

My First Time as a "jie mei"

Hee... nearly forgot to blog this in as i hope to blog most of my "first time" in this blog...
actually this happen last sunday but i dun hv the time to blog since then...
anyway still can blog now hee...

All started off from 5.30am where i hv to prepare to go to my friend's (the bride) house...
wa liew, putting on makeup is a tough job for me lor, then so early somemore ha... me not those who likes to put on makeup and seldom do that and tats why it will take longer time bah ha...
then pick up 2 more frens to share cab to the bride's hse, was a little late though cos me started off late hee...

Anyway my job for tat day is to do timekeeping... so a series of events happen... get ang bao frm bridegroom, bridegroom met the bride, then photo taking session indoor and outdoor, then "jing cha" at bridegroom's house, then go bk to the couple's new house to switch on light, nxt head back to the bride's house to "jing cha" and hv lunch...

After all events, me head bk home to catch some nap then head to the hotel for wedding dinner... nth much to do for the dinner, juz to keep time and look after the album....
Afterall, it was a fun day but its tired lar... real tired de ha...

Next week, me will be blogging abt my first marathon race. Therefore let you all preview the goodie bag which i hv collected this afternoon hee...

My "sister" Dress

Singapore Hit Awards 2007

Yes! Its 933 Jing Qu Jiang...
Thanks to dear, got to accompany him to go for the event yesterday night...
Hee... its free...
Though its an annual event in Singapore, I have never been to one before...
Why leh? I also don't know. I listen to radio often but dun have the urge to go for this event leh... Think its because its not free bah ha...
Anyway get to see a few artiste yesterday like "Fei Lun Hai", "Zhang Shao Han", "Yan Zhi", Tank etc...
Wu Zhun is indeed handsome and fit, no wonder all the "xiao mei mei" chase after him like crazy. Zhang Shao Han is pretty too, her voice is really powerful lor for her size hee...
On the whole, its interesting to go for such big event, can see many things ha... nice :)
